I’m a professor of astrophysics who loves gravitational waves, galaxy dynamics, black holes, and the Laser Interferometer Space Antenna. As the Co-Director of the Fisk-Vanderbilt Masters-to-PhD Bridge Program, I’m working to help build a field that’s vibrant, inclusive and supportive for everyone. Sometimes, I stand in a dark field pretending to stargaze wearing a sweater in the heat of a Tennessee summer.
